The ASUS VivoBook E200HA is a great machine for users who are after a lightweight laptop that can easily be packed it into a backpack or handbag while on the go. But the hardware installed will cope with basic day-to-day tasks such as; emailing, web browsing, Skyping and word processing. Reviewers have praised ASUS for using a slightly snappier Atom Quad-Core processor over a Dual-Core Celeron of some of its rivals, and the fast flash storage device. But the storage space is limited and a 64GB or 128GB version would be preferable as users are only left with about 15GB with Windows 10 installed. ASUS have however added a Micro SD slot that can be used to expand the storage space of the VivoBook E200HA. The rest of the hardware is also non-upgradable and users will have to make do with the limited 2GB of RAM, but for day-to-day tasks the RAM should be sufficient. The integrated graphics will run basic flash games and multimedia, but the Cherry Trail GPU is underpowered and will not run any new titles. Some classic titles such as Age of Empires 2 or Counter Strike 1.6 will run with acceptable frame rates. But at under $200, it would be unreasonable to expect a gaming laptop. The ASUS VivoBook E200HA is a great machine for users who are after a lightweight laptop that can easily be packed it into a backpack or handbag while on the go. Featuring an Intel Atom Quad-Core Z8300 processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC flash storage, the ASUS VivoBook E200HA is by no means a powerful laptop. But the hardware installed will cope with basic day-to-day tasks such as; emailing, web browsing, Skyping and word processing. Reviewers have praised ASUS for using a slightly snappier Atom Quad-Core processor over a Dual-Core Celeron of some of its rivals, and the fast flash storage device. But the storage space is limited and a 64GB or 128GB version would be preferable as users are only left with about 15GB with Windows 10 installed. ASUS have however added a Micro SD slot that can be used to expand the storage space of the VivoBook E200HA. The rest of the hardware is also non-upgradable and users will have to make do with the limited 2GB of RAM, but for day-to-day tasks the RAM should be sufficient. The integrated graphics will run basic flash games and multimedia, but the Cherry Trail GPU is underpowered and will not run any new titles. Some classic titles such as Age of Empires 2 or Counter Strike 1.6 will run with acceptable frame rates. But at under $200, it would be unreasonable to expect a gaming laptop. The display offers average colors, average viewing angles and a maximum resolution of 1366×768.
